Cobalt Creative moves its offices
October 1, 2004
Oakland, Calif. - Less than nine months after completing a reorganization and remodeling of its offices on Euclid Avenue, Cobalt Creative has left them behind.
"The move was precipitated by an expansion of staff, which included adding a fiance and two cats," notes Cobalt CEO J. Arthur Sobul. "Everyone here is excited about the changes, except, as usual, for that freak Raven. Too much sunlight for him again."
The new space represents a significant increase in square footage, though it does sacrifice the stellar views of the East Bay Hills.
However, the location - at 524 Crofton Avenue in Oakland - keeps the company in the same area it has been since moving to the Bay area in 1999, just off Grand Avenue near the vibrant Grand-Lake commercial district.
"This area has so many advantages, and it provides ready access to transit and highways, with Interstate 580 just down the street," J. Arthur notes. "It is our intent to stay in this area for as long as we continue to do our work."
