Cobalt Creative jumps on Dot-Com boom

May 9, 2006

Oakland, CA Ð Cobalt Creative has joined the dot-com revolution.

"I am proud to say we have acquired the rights to and have immediately activated the url www.cobaltcreative.com," said Cobalt CEO J. Arthur Sobul. "This move truly demonstrates that this company is on the leading edge of the tail end of the dot-com boom."

"Wow, man, dot-com," added Cobalt Creative creative director Sir Geoffrey Sobul. "That's definitely the place to be. I mean, don't get me wrong, dot-net was cool and it worked. But dude, nobody called it the dot-net boom. Dot-com is where it all happened. The over-inflated market caps, the over-inflated net worths, the over-inflated egos. I'm proud to be a part of it. Well, at least the over-inflated ego part."

The new URL is already active, so that visitors to www.cobaltcreative.com will land on the company's website. Emails sent to jeff@cobaltcreative.com will also arrive in the same inbox they always have, at least according to the guy on the phone at Cobalt's ISP. In addition, the URL www.cobaltcreative.net will remain live and emails sent to the .net email address will also land in the same inbox they always have, at least according to the same guy on the phone at Cobalt's ISP.

Cobalt Creative - which operates as a virtual advertising and marketing agency providing copywriting and related services - was established Labor Day weekend, 1997, in Kansas City, MO. The company moved to the Bay area around Independence Day, 1999.
